Community Guidelines

Last updated: May 11, 2026

COURA ONE is more than a booking platform — it is a space where pickleball players of all levels come together to play, connect, and grow the sport they love. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure that every player, regardless of age or skill level, feels welcome, safe, and respected on and off the court.

These guidelines apply to all interactions on the COURA ONE platform — including bookings, open play sessions, in-app communications, ratings, reviews, and any other activity conducted through or in connection with the Platform.

By using COURA ONE, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform. These guidelines are to be read alongside our Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Respect and Inclusivity

Pickleball is for everyone. We want every player to feel welcome the moment they step on the court.

2. Fair Play and Sportsmanship

How you play matters as much as winning. We uphold the spirit of the game on every court.

3. Court Etiquette and Scheduling

Respecting the court and your fellow players' time keeps the game moving for everyone.

4. Open Play Sessions

Open play is where our community really comes alive. Keep it fun, fair, and welcoming for all.

Open play sessions are shared spaces where players of varying skill levels participate together. The following guidelines apply specifically to open play:

  • Introduce yourself to players you have not met before — open play is a great way to build connections
  • Follow the rotation system established by the Facility to ensure all players get equal court time
  • Do not form exclusive groups that prevent other registered participants from joining
  • Adjust your style of play to be inclusive when participating alongside less experienced players
  • Communicate openly and kindly if there are concerns about play style or conduct during a session
  • Respect the session organizer or Facility staff managing the open play event

Open play is not a competitive ranking event. Keep the emphasis on fun, participation, and community building.

5. Communication and Platform Conduct

What you say on the platform reflects on all of us. Keep all communication positive and constructive.

All communications conducted through COURA ONE — including in-app messages, reviews, ratings, and feedback — must meet our standards of respect, accuracy, and good faith.

6. Safety and Physical Well-Being

Everyone deserves to play in a safe environment. Look out for yourself and your fellow players.

  • Warm up adequately before play and cool down after to reduce the risk of injury
  • Inform the Facility of any medical condition or physical limitation that may affect your ability to participate safely
  • Stop playing immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, or are in pain, and seek assistance from Facility staff
  • Do not play under the influence of alcohol or any substance that may impair your coordination or judgment
  • Wear appropriate footwear and attire suitable for court sports
  • Report any unsafe court conditions, equipment defects, or hazards to Facility staff immediately
  • Be mindful of other players' personal space and safety — avoid reckless swings or movements

ACF Solutions is a technology platform provider and bears no responsibility for on-site safety conditions or incidents. All physical safety matters are the responsibility of the Facility. In a safety emergency, contact Facility staff and local emergency services immediately.

7. Privacy and Personal Information

What happens at the court stays at the court — unless players consent otherwise.

  • Respect the privacy of other players. Do not photograph, record, or livestream other players without their knowledge and consent.
  • Do not collect, share, or misuse the personal information of other players accessed through the Platform or at the Facility.
  • Protect your own account information and never share your login credentials with anyone else.
  • If you believe your personal data has been misused by another player, report it to ACF support or the National Privacy Commission.

All personal data collected through COURA ONE is processed in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012) and ACF's Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Minor Players

COURA ONE welcomes players of all ages. We all share responsibility for keeping younger players safe.

  • Parents and guardians of minor players are responsible for supervising their child's activity on and through the Platform.
  • Adult players are encouraged to create a welcoming and supportive environment for younger players learning the sport.
  • Any behavior that could be considered inappropriate, threatening, or harmful toward a minor must be reported to Facility staff and ACF support immediately.
  • Minor players are subject to the same community standards as adult players and are expected to conduct themselves respectfully.

ACF takes the safety of minor players seriously. Any conduct that puts a minor at risk will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

9. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience behavior that violates these Community Guidelines, we encourage you to take the following steps:

  • Address it directly and calmly if it is safe and appropriate to do so — many issues can be resolved with a respectful conversation
  • Report the incident to Facility staff if the situation occurs on-site
  • Submit a report through COURA ONE's in-app support or via email to [email protected]
  • In cases involving physical harm, harassment, or illegal activity, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately

All reports will be reviewed in good faith. ACF reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a warning, temporarily suspending, or permanently removing a player from the Platform.

False or bad-faith reports intended to harm another player's standing on the Platform are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

10. Consequences of Violations

ACF Solutions and the Facility reserve the right to take appropriate action against any player who violates these Community Guidelines. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, consequences may include:

  • A formal warning communicated through the Platform or via email
  • Temporary suspension of the player's account for a defined period
  • Removal from a specific open play session or Facility
  • Permanent termination of the player's COURA ONE account
  • Referral to appropriate legal authorities in cases involving illegal conduct

ACF will exercise reasonable judgment in determining appropriate consequences and may consider the history and context of the violation. Repeated or serious violations will be treated more severely.

Our goal is not to punish — it is to protect the community. We will always aim for the outcome that keeps COURA ONE a safe, enjoyable, and fair space for all players.

11. Updates to These Guidelines

ACF may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect the evolving needs of our community, changes to the Platform, or applicable laws. You will be notified of material changes through the Platform or via your registered email address.

Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised guidelines. We encourage all players to review these guidelines periodically.
